We are expanding our partnerships across Australia and are looking for a Business Development Manager to lead strategic collaborations with financial institutions, fintech platforms, and commercial partners. This role is focused on building long-term partnerships, not transactional sales.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop partnership structures that drive mutual value and long-term collaboration
  • Lead negotiations and commercial discussions with potential partners
  • Expand Vell's presence in Australia through channel partnerships and ecosystem integrations
  • Identify opportunities for embedded finance and white-label payment solutions
  • Work with product and compliance teams to support partner onboarding
  • Provide insights on market opportunities, competitors, and emerging fintech trends

Requirements

  • 5+ years experience in business development, partnerships, or strategic sales
  • Experience in fintech, payments, banking, or financial services
  • Strong understanding of the Australian payments and fintech ecosystem
  • Experience negotiating commercial partnerships
  • Ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Self-driven and comfortable operating in a fast-growing environment
