We are expanding our partnerships across Australia and are looking for a Business Development Manager to lead strategic collaborations with financial institutions, fintech platforms, and commercial partners. This role is focused on building long-term partnerships, not transactional sales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop partnership structures that drive mutual value and long-term collaboration
- Lead negotiations and commercial discussions with potential partners
- Expand Vell's presence in Australia through channel partnerships and ecosystem integrations
- Identify opportunities for embedded finance and white-label payment solutions
- Work with product and compliance teams to support partner onboarding
- Provide insights on market opportunities, competitors, and emerging fintech trends
Requirements
- 5+ years experience in business development, partnerships, or strategic sales
- Experience in fintech, payments, banking, or financial services
- Strong understanding of the Australian payments and fintech ecosystem
- Experience negotiating commercial partnerships
- Ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Self-driven and comfortable operating in a fast-growing environment
